2026 final · Spain 1–0 Argentina · New York New Jersey
The boards switched to Aramco four seconds before the goal
Spain's winning move was framed by Hisense boards. About four seconds before the ball went in, the LED boards behind the goal changed to Aramco, a top-tier FIFA Partner. Aramco ended with 6 of the 10 brand-seconds we detected around the goal: 60% of goal-moment time, from 12% of all sponsor screen time.
One goal, one board rotation
The goal window runs from the start of the move at 1:03 to the restart at 1:25. Hisense held the boards for the first 3 seconds of the build-up. Then the same LED boards showed Aramco, and stayed on Aramco through the goal and the first replays. Michelob Ultra got one second at the end.
Lenovo had more screen time than any other brand, 16 seconds, and none of it was around the goal.
Aramco's real goal time is likely higher than shown. In the replays from behind the net (1:18–1:21) its logo is large but cut up by the netting, and neither method read it. We checked those frames by eye and left the numbers as measured.
Every sponsor, second by second
Sixteen sponsors appear in under two minutes. FIFA's top-tier partners had 67% of all sponsor screen time, more than in either of the other games. A few threads:
- New names on the boards: Fanatics, DoorDash and Mercado Libre, none of which appeared in Brazil v Morocco.
- Chinese brands: Lenovo and Hisense held 19% of screen time and 30% of goal time, all of it Hisense's share of the build-up.
- Beer: AB InBev's board was again Michelob Ultra, for 5 seconds. No Budweiser board appeared.

A 2-minute highlight edit with one goal. Board recall in this video is 0.74, and only 1 of 8 small, distant boards was found. One board rotation decides the goal-moment shares here; read them as one event, not a pattern.
